10.000 runners, a Mediterranean breeze, the perfect climatologic conditions, and one of the most beautiful cities in Spain bathed in moonlight, has been the scenario where the GAMBÍN Runners could not miss out on the 15K Nocturnal race. This happening took place the 8th of June, in Valencia, and it has become a compulsory sporting venue for both amateur and professional runners who want to participate in this event, qualified by the Bronze Label of the IAAF, the international Athletics Federation, as one of the best distance running experiences in the country.

12 brave souls of the GAMBÍN team started at 22h30, cheered by the necessary supporting group whom accompany them at each race. A representation of Cox, Murcia, Almeria and Alicante, and the city of Valencia, shone in the Valencian capital bathed by the Turia river, in their already renowned blue T-shirts marked with the ‘Vívelo’ logo. There was joy and vitality both at the start of the 15K run, as well as during and after the finish line, as is required in any sporting event.

‘Avenida del Puerto, Palau de la Música, Paseo de la Alameda, Torres de Serrano, Ayuntamiento, Puerta del Mar, Plaza de Toros, Avenida del Marqués del Turia, Puente del Reino and the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias’ were nocturnal witnesses of a lavish demonstration of effort, sweat, teamwork and emotions, whilst the GAMBÍN Runners worked their way up by completing the15.000 meters that separated them form the finish line. It was time to practice the hours of dedication to drilling, training, sacrifices, speeches and conversations, and counsels to face this race. Helping each other out, in a perfect match of camaraderie, the runners completed the race whilst enjoying the magic of the city and its warm-hearted inhabitants who supported them all the way with music, applauses and some merry shouting. 

The finish-line has been, once again, a merry witness of how effort finally gets rewarded, as united people stand stronger and make everything possible. A joyful celebration crowned the sporting event, followed by a well-deserved dinner to replenish and enjoy all together, whilst sharing the details of the race.
