Madrid becomes the epicentre of the fruit and vegetable sector's happy reunion
A resounding success. This is the general appraisal of Fruit Attraction 2021, the international trade fair for the fruit and vegetable sector that took place in Madrid on the 5th, 6th and 7th of October. Exhibiting companies, customers, suppliers and visitors in general agree in their opinion: there could not have been a better way to return to normal activity after almost two years of forced stoppage of physical events due to the restrictions caused by Covid-19
The layout of the pavilions - with wider aisles and greater separation between stands - as well as the absence of some companies - who preferred to be cautious when planning their attendance months in advance - did not tarnish the event in any way. Quite the contrary. According to official figures from the organisers themselves, 65,000 professionals from 110 different countries and representatives from 1,300 companies moved around the exhibition centre in the Spanish capital.
And there was GRUPO GAMBÍN. Stand 3F01B in Hall 3 hosted the commercial expedition, made up of a total of 9 representatives. They made the most of their full agendas while, at the same time, attending to the many people interested in the services provided by the company in terms of production, packaging, marketing, export and the whole fruit and vegetable mix supplied through GAMBÍN CANARIAS, whose representatives flew in directly from Tenerife.
The organisation of supplies to existing markets during the recently started Spanish citrus season, the continuation of relations with offices and distribution companies in different countries and the deepening of the company's strategic lines in terms of supplying large supermarket chains located both in Europe and in other countries were the main axes on which the company worked during the fair.
In addition, it was an opportunity to provide new interested parties with an in-depth knowledge of the group's particularities and it was possible to talk to them face to face after multiple long-distance contacts. To this end, GRUPO GAMBÍN displayed, with great acclaim from all the participants, an audiovisual projection system with information about the company, its facilities, its farms, its processes and its nearly 400 workers who were thus also present at IFEMA.
