GAMBÍN renews its commitment to the Tennis and Paddle School of Cox
One more year, GAMBÍN committed to promoting training and competitiveness within the framework of sports values. It does so through its cooperation agreement with the Cox Tennis and Paddle School. Nearly 100 students of this sports centre in Cox, where the company's headquarters are located, together with their teachers and their trainers, will endorse the company’s brand on their uniforms. They will wear them attending local competitions and sports venues all over Spain.
This is a relationship that started in 2008, when GAMBÍN decided to promote sports practice by linking its name to the school’s image. “Gambin has always been our sponsor, the company has supported us practically from the beginning. This agreement renewal stands for fidelity, commitment and the desire to continue backing up sports. Thanks to our sponsor, we can organize internal tournaments in Spring and Christmas, provide gifts to all the members of the school, plan our trips to play in tournaments with the teams, a part form improving equipment and sporting material”, explains Aitor Ávila Quinto, co-director of the school together with Vicente Berná.
“Gambin is a leading company in the town of Cox and a reference on regional and provincial level. The growth and modernization that it has experienced in recent years inspires us to improve our sports performance at every level. After all, Gambin is an example of upright organization, evolution, effort and work culture, having its name on our equipment is a major pride for all the members of our School,” says Ávila.
The Cox Tennis School has a team that competes in the “Vega Baja” region, in Alicante, and in some other locations in Murcia. Its members play in a league that promotes the basic development of children and adolescents. In addition, the school participates within the adult category of the local league. When talking about paddle, the school has several students who play weekly tournaments in different categories: 2nd, 3rd and 4th. Joaquín Pérez, a former professional tennis player who later went on to play federated paddle tournaments, struggling to enter the WPT (World Padel Tour), currently works for GAMBÍN.
“From the beginning, we wanted to create a school where all members could strive to be a team, we promote companionship and respect towards all. And, of course, the essential values of tennis and paddle are based on sportsmanship, modesty, solidarity, sacrifice and the constant effort to progress,” concludes Ávila, “We have all these values in common with GAMBÍN.”
